Where to recycle electronics in Ontario

233 public sites across Ontario list electronics on the operator's own website. Checked October 2026.

TVs, computers, printers, phones and cables are banned from the garbage at most Ontario sites and are usually accepted free in a separate electronics bin. These are the public sites that list electronics.

14 sites say they do not take electronics, so we've left them out.

Before you go

  • Call or check the site's page first. Item rules, limits and fees change, and some sites take certain items only on set days.
  • Bring proof of address. Many municipal sites are for residents only.
  • Keep the item separate in your load so it can go straight to the right pile.
